Dear Friends,

It's not often that a brand new school comes on line. Donelson Middle School is proud to continue the legacy begun over eighty years ago when Donelson High School opened its doors. Over the years, the school became a focal point for much of the activity in the Donelson community. After an almost 15 year absence, the school is once again a part of life in the Donelson and Hermitage area.

We are blessed with a new building, an enthusiastic faculty, and wonderful children. Our parents are excited to have a neighborhood middle school. Together we are going to have an exemplary middle school program. As we grow into our building and ascertain the needs and wants of our children and their families, we will be in a position to respond with appropriate programs and services. We look forward to the challenges and opporunities ahead of us. We invite you to be a part of Nashville's newest middle school as it continues the legacy of service to the Donelson/Hermitage community.

Sincerely,

Rob Sasser, Principal
